The aim of this website is to explore the cultural clashes and connections of White Teeth in relation to locations, history, and the past of the characters. Through the use of various modes of media and representation, as well as a focus on Alsana and Clara, insight will be gained on how one's culture changes and adapts to a different location and social community. In our analysis of the friendship and ideals of these two women, we will look at the character's respective cultures and draw conclusions about key similarities or differences. The basic idea of our project is cultural interaction, between people, places, and the past.

Culture and history play a big part in Zadie Smith’s novel, White Teeth. This project will
analyze the impact that culture and history has on the characters, Alsana and Clara, and
areas of London within the novel. A website has been created to display our analysis, as well as representations through various mediums.
